George Gets a Well Deserved Moment of Peace

Description

‘George Gets a Well Deserved Moment of Peace’ is an original pencil drawing of a wire fox terrier, seated at the table with a purple Burleighware teapot and cup. I used Derwent Chromaflow pencils on Strathmore 400 series grey tone paper, and it is framed in a vintage (maybe 80s) timber frame with a double oval mount in plum tones. Due to the age of the frame, there are a few superficial dings and scuffs, and there is a small scratch on the glass which you can only really see looking side on. I have chosen not to try and fix any of these imperfections as they are cosmetic and enhance the old-world feel of the subject matter and unique hand-made feel of the piece. Hanging hardware is installed on the back.

Size: 33.5 x 38cm (13.1 x 14.9 inches) including frame.
