All the Pretty Vases

Description

‘All the Pretty Vases’ is original gouache painting is based on a photo advertising Vaisselle Boutique vases. I was fascinated by the plain walls and the extraordinary mantelpiece as a backdrop for the patterned vases and brightly coloured flowers.

Winsor and Newton gouache on Arches cold press 300gsm watercolour paper, and a little white posca pen and Unipin fineliner for outlines.

Painting size 14 x 18.5cm (5.5 x 7.2 inches). Paper size is roughly 1cm larger than the painting itself (see pic).

Selling unframed.

Note:

As this is an original painting, it should be placed behind glass and not in direct light to protect from excessive fading.
