Description

‘On The Case’ is an original pencil drawing of a wire fox terrier dressed as a Victorian detective.

I have used a combination of Derwent Chromaflow and Prismacolor pencils on Strathmore 4oo series tan tone paper with a little Unipin fineliner in sepia for outlines and some white posca paint for some white highlights.

It is framed in a vintage timber frame which has been hand-painted in a matt black. As such it is not a factory finish. The imperfections of the brushstrokes add to the old-world, hand-made unique feel of this piece. Hanging hardware is installed on the back.

26 x 30.5cm (10.2 x 12 inches) including frame.
