Memories of Home I (original watercolour)

Description

‘Memories’ is an original watercolour painting of a room in Alexandra Tolstoy’s home.

I have used Japanese Kuretake watercolours on Arches cold press 300gsm watercolour paper with some Unipin fineliner in balck, some white posca pen, and some pencil. There is a little sparkly gold Lisilinka watercolour for the dots in the border.

Image measures roughly 20.5 x 20.5cm

This piece is painted in the reverse of an experimental acrylic painting (see pic). You cannot see anything from the front, as Arches paper is so thick.

Please note when framing display away from direct light to prevent excessive fading.
