In Full Bloom

Description

‘In Full Bloom’ is an original watercolour painting of a room in the UK home of designer Butter Wakefield.

I have used Japanese Kuretake watercolour on Arches 300gsm cold press watercolour paper, Unipin fineliner, some white posca pen for highlights and a little Lisilinka gold watercolour in the corners of the border.

This piece is painted in the reverse of an experimental acrylic painting (see pic). You cannot see anything from the front, as Arches paper is so thick.

The image to the edge of the borders measures 19.5 x 28.5cm.
