Grandma Always Gave Us Tea

Description

‘Grandma Always Gave Us Tea’ is an original watercolour painting based on a photo for Cabana Magazine’s SS26 campaign.

The fresh cut flowers and the gingham made me think of lovely Grandma visits, so I added the tea things as if someone was coming to visit for afternoon tea.

In this piece I have used a combination of Kuretake and Winsor and Newton watercolours, some posca pen and Unipin fineliner on 300gsm Arches cold press watercolour paper. The green folk art border is painted on the precut matt.

40 x 30cm (including the matt) (15.7 x 11.8 inches).

Selling unframed.
