Description
‘Unto My Books So Good to Turn Far Ends of Tired Days’, is an original watercolour painting of a room designed by Joanna Plant and featuring a chinoiserie wallpaper in collaboration with de Gournay. The title of this painting comes from a poem of the same name by Emily Dickenson, and I felt it appropriate as the soft pink light from the fading day makes this room a soothing retreat in which to quietly read.
I have used Kuretake and Winsor and Newton watercolours, Unipin fineliner and white Jellyroll pen on Arches 300gsm cold press watercolour paper.
Image size is 14 x 19cm ( 5.5 x 7.4 inches) on 21 x 29.7cm sheet (8.2 x 11.6 inches)
Unframed.
Note:
As this is an original painting, please display away from direct sunlight to prevent excessive fading.
All care is taken to ensure accurate colour and texture (if any), but monitors do differ in representation. Please be advised there may be a difference between how an artwork looks in person compared to your device.
