I Love Pink

Description

‘I Love Pink’ is an original watercolour painting from a reference photo of the lounge of UK fashion and homewares designer, Violet Dent. For this painting I have used a combination of Kuretake and Winsor and Newton watercolours and Unipin fineliner on Arches 300gsm watercolour paper. I have taken inspiration from a vintage quilt shown in another of Violet’s Instagram posts for the border and added a black background to increase the dramatic effect and make the interior pop on the paper.

I painted a vintage timber frame in a hand mixed bright pink, and the white mount in a soft cream colour. It comes with clear glass in the front and has hanging hardware already installed on the back.

35 x 43cm (13.7 x 16.9 inches) including frame.

Note: As this is an original piece of art, avoid hanging in direct sunlight to prevent excessive fading.
