Description

‘Delphinium Blue’ is an original watercolour painting from a reference photo, with a painted pattern border inspired by the blue willow china on the wall.

I have used Kuretake watercolour on Arches 300gsm cold press watercolour paper, Unipin black fineliner and white posca pen.

19.5 x 21.5cm painted right up to the edge of the paper.

This piece is painted in the reverse of an experimental watercolour painting (see pic). You cannot see anything from the front, as Arches paper is so thick. However, because of this ‘defect’, this piece is heavily discounted.

Note: Display this piece away from direct sunlight to prevent excessive fading.
