Bonney’s Inn

Description

‘Bonney’s Inn’ is an original watercolour painting of the kitchen in Bonney’s Inn, in Deloraine, Tasmania. The bright, highly patterned interior with its emphasis on primary colours reflects the personality of its owner. I have sought to capture this happy gathering place by adding in the owner’s pets and using an oversized border echoing the colours and patterns found in the interior.

I have used Kuretake watercolours, Unipin fineliner and white posca pen on Arches 300gsm cold press watercolour paper.

21 x 29.7cm (painted right up to the edges)
