Description
‘Things I Loved Enough to Keep’ is an original gouache painting from a reference photo. It features a fantastically decorative wall hanging, brass peacock fireplace cover and ornamental mirror. It is painted in Winsor and Newton gouache on 300gsm watercolour paper.
This piece is framed in a second hand inexpensive decorative gold frame, which has been rubbed with black acrylic paint to give it a bit more grungey age. The original glass in this frame has flecks of gold through it (see pic). I presume it came that way from the manufacturer. You can’t really tell unless you look at it up close and from different angles when it catches the light. It comes with the original hanging hook already installed on the back.
16.5 x 21.5cm (6.4 x8.4 inches) including frame.
Note: As this is an original piece of art, avoid hanging in direct sunlight to prevent excessive fading.
All care is taken to ensure that colours and textures (if any) are as accurate as possible, however monitors differ, so please be aware that there may be some difference between how the artwork appears on your device and what it looks like in real life.
