Brown Check Armchair

Description

This original gouache painting was inspired by a feature in a magazine. I loved the original composition of the room and brown check armchair and mural being the focus, but changed the colours of everything else. I went for a rough, more child-like rendering.

Winsor and Newton gouache

On Arches cold press 300gsm watercolour paper

With some pencil for shading and details.

Paper size 21 x 29.5cm (same as image size)

Note:

As this is an original painting, it should be placed behind glass and not in direct light to protect from excessive fading.
