A Room by Robert Kime

Description

This original gouache painting is inspired by a photo reference of a room by the late UK designer Robert Kime. The original had very pale blue walls. I increased the depth of the blue and introduced a mural to create the feeling of colonial camp under the night sky.

Winsor and Newton gouache, on Arches cold press 300gsm watercolour paper

Paper size 14.7 x 21cm (5.7 x 8.2cm) painted right up to the edge of the paper.

Selling unframed.

As this is an original painting, it should be placed behind glass and not in direct light to protect from excessive fading.
